Was forum updates(still is)

Thanks WWW , seems to work ok now.

I logged in today, and the forum showed no new posts, but when I went into the forums there were heaps of new posts!

on the topic of forum rules you said we only have 10 mb right?
if thats the case then i think posting lots of pictures should be banned
since that takes up a fair bit, and with all the stuff that "some people" are
posting atm, we could reach maximum capacity in a short amount of time.

That's for the forum interface images I think. I do hope everyone here is using imageshack or photobucket. If not, begin now, or else I will start terminating stuff en masse.

I'll will check now, considering I administrate the servimg account for the forum. Hopefully I can remember the admin password

No worries - our 10mb of space has absolutely nothing in it. You can keep on posting images, however I will be keeping an eye on Jonathan, maybe I can ban him for posting "offensive images"

May be just my computer, but none of the images are loading. Also, I think the 'you have posted in this topic' thing is irritating.

I'll see what I can do about that. Also, to go off-topic, my Darwinbots installation is seriously screwing up.

My DB installations screw up after a while. It used to be I needed to reload the bots every time I started a new sim, last time it was that every time I clicked something it tried installing Microsoft Front Page or some stupid windows crap like that. I should really switch to Ubuntu.

Ok, the forumnian graphics overhaul is now underway. Gradually the current theme (although bright and cheery, it is a little bit orange) will be replaced with one which is slightly more Mtg-ish.

Common - No New Posts
Uncommon - New Posts
Rare - Announcement, New Posts
Timeshifted - Announcement, No New Posts
White - Locked

I hope to eventually use mythic rare for announcements with new posts, so then announcements with no new posts can be rare and "timeshifted topics" can be the locked ones.

Yes, I know the new icons are rather large, but they are unique

New Fonts for the interface (people without the fonts installed will continue to see the old fonts, which is probably a good thing: the new fonts are harder to read!!!)

And I have adjusted the background colour to black, as suits a good quality Magic Forum.

So the next step is to replace all the orange bars in the interface, then maybe improve the various buttons, add some mtg smileys, and then probably replace the topic icons again.

Awesome, I am loving, or starting to love the upgrades.

mmmm id say go for a bit bigger font size personally this one is tiny say

I can't adjust the font size - it's based on people's browser settings.
I could pick a larger font, but some of the other ones I tried w e r e l i k e t h i s . . .

Actually, It seems Mythic Rare is popular new posts and Uncommon is normal new posts.
I also don't like this new font. It's to thin and irritating.

font could be slightly more expansive but i like how youve done the post colouring with uncommons n stuff ay it looks good

I actually agree on the font thing. It is annoying, but I can't preview fonts, so the only way to find out what they're like is to change it.
