Thursday night magic - 26 September -

Hi All

Key has been acquired, we are GO GO GO for Thursdays!

Come for an hour or stay late. We can play our own decks or draft up the Cube.

I reiterate: You can grid draft out of the cube in about 10-15 minutes. It's designed to be a fast format.

But nothing is faster than playing your own decks, so if anyone has some fun decks that they want to take for a spin, then that's fine. In fact, if you have multiple decks, I am happy to to attempt to beat you over the head with your OWN decks

I play 100 card Highlander so if you want to try to take that down, good luck to you sir, I have a Sol Ring and I'm not afraid to use it.

IMPORTANT: If even ONE person says YES, we are go. This may be slightly different to the Sunday plan, but it's how we will roll on Thursdays. If ANYONE want's to play, we will play.

I'm thinking 7:30 ish until late, but we can just play it by ear. 8pm is ok, or if just one mage wants to play, well, tell me what time and I'll meet you

So who wants to throw a few spells around this Thursday?

If we end up with 3 players, I know a couple of fun 3 player variants that you may not have tried

If we want to use the Cube with 3 players it is SUPER fast and easy.

Just do a sealed deck.

5 x 15 card boosters (or 6 boosters if you want a slightly more powerful deck) and just make your deck!

No drafting, just crack the packs, split your pool into colours and make the best 40 card deck you can. SIMPLE

Do you mean simulate sealed boosters from the CUBE or actually use sealed boosters?

It's very fast and easy, good for up to 4 players and if you just want to get quickly into playing.
