Does anybody know what "conversion cost" means? I assumed you pay in USD, but evidently not...

What is the context ?
At Wizards cupboard prices are $US. Current conversion today is US 69c/$NZ.
Therefore divide $US price by 0.69 to get cost in $NZ. If paying by credit card there is an additional currency transaction charge which may be a few % of total cost.

there are bank web sites with up to date exchange rates. u pay the US cost in equivalent NZ dollars. make sure u check the conversion rate BEFORE u order and so on and so forth i know u know what ur doing.
the web sites have converters that do the work for you. here's mine.

No, it's not the exchange rate, it's how much gets lost in the conversion process. There's also a problem with shipping-turns out we have to pay NZ$15 more for that as well, so a total of about $20 is missing...
