I found out the original purpose for attack-left: Because of the limited spell radius, every third player can simultaneously take their turn. This means huge multiplayer games can be made to move much faster.

| I think the turns have to be synchronized, but either way the game should become much faster. The only trouble is it only works well with 6 or 8 players, or any other multiple of a number greater than 2. | |

| I don't see why Chris is against it, is speeds up the game with little effect on the individual players. Or maybe that's why he hates it | |

I doubt whether it works at all with 4 either, and when do we ever have any of the other multiples that you are talking about?

| the multiplier has to be greater than 2, not the multiplication result! I'd consider six people to be reasonable. | |

| None of the numbers that you have mentioned meet your initial criterion. i.e. - Quote :
- This means huge multiplayer games can be made to move much faster.
which appears to be the sole justification for attacking in a single direction(?) I cant remember the last time be had enuf people for a 'huge' multiplayer game. LOL; anyway I dont see a problem as long as you don't ban burn decks!! Lets do it!!! or as would say: - Quote :
- Bring it!
