Chronatog
1U
1/2
Skip your next turn: Chronatog gets +2/+2 until end of turn. Play this ability only once each turn.

Statis, Sulfuric Vortex etc...

I thought of a method to make the deck work seamlessly, but I kind of forgot. Chronatog Totems could provide a last desperate method of skipping your turn. You could also use control spells to counter any spells they may have accumulated enough land to play.

Other cards worth considering:

Blood Clock/Umbilicus
Barbed Wire
Copper Tablet
Dreamborn Muse
Mana Vortex (This card covers players accumulating mana; a game-finisher with stasis.)
Noetic Scales
Paradox Haze
Risky Move
Rivalry
Sunken Hope
Tangle Wire

Looking into black, there are also a lot of things in there...

Stoneshaker Shaman might also be fun, and I'd consider playing forced frutition with the stasis and stoneshakers...
